A little about my path.

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist, a longtime student of contemplative practice, and someone who has spent a good deal of my life searching for a more meaningful and alive way of being.
My own path has shaped the way I sit with people.
For much of my teens and twenties, I was drawn to big questions about suffering, belonging, spirituality, and what makes a good life. I was also very good at pushing myself.
I had absorbed the idea, from my family history and the world around me, that being strong meant being tough. That growth required effort, discipline, and a willingness to endure discomfort. That being a good person meant being selfless.
Some of those qualities served me well. Others left me feeling increasingly disconnected from myself.
Even some of the spiritual practices I turned to for relief became another way to work on myself.
Over time, I began to discover something different.
That gentleness could be a source of strength. That learning to trust my body and my own discernment mattered as much as understanding my mind. That I didn't have to become more perfected to become more fully myself.
And that the experience of being met with genuine warmth and care could be deeply transformative.

What I bring to this work.

Relational and
somatic therapy

I'm informed by Relational Somatic Healing (RSH), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and a commitment to creating a collaborative, compassionate therapeutic relationship.

A broader context
for healing

I'm interested in how our suffering is shaped not only by our individual histories, but also by the families, cultures, institutions, and systems in which we live. I also draw on ancestral wisdom, myth, and our relationship with the living world.

A welcoming and inclusive space

I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent people, and people in diverse relationship structures. I approach this work with a commitment to cultural humility, embodied anti-racism, and continued learning.

In the therapy room, I'm...

Warm, curious, and gentle. I care about creating a space where you can soften, feel genuinely met, and know that you don't have to perform, please me, or get things right.

I'm also known for my ability to thread the needle—to notice and name something important, sometimes something just beneath the surface, with precision and care. I believe that being lovingly met and being honestly challenged aren't opposites. Sometimes the most meaningful moments in therapy come when a difficult truth is offered in a way that helps you feel more understood, rather than judged.

My hope is that our work helps you become more trusting of your own wisdom, not more dependent on mine.

You can begin with what you know.

You don't need a clear diagnosis, a perfectly articulated goal, or

a dramatic crisis to begin therapy.

A sense that something isn't quite right—and a curiosity about what else might be possible—is enough.
